WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are now looking for our Senior Business Controller for supporting H&M Womenswear. You will be part of a dynamic and international team where high pace and rapid changes are a natural part of your day. You work closely with the team´s Business Controller, and with strong controlling as a core, you will be able to build the role around your strengths.   

Key Responsibilities: 

• Optimize sustainable sales growth and profitability with the right quantity, the right timing, at the right place and at the best price 
• Initiate and drive actionable goals that optimize the customer offer for customer group and/or brand on short- and long-term. Support the team leader to drive the strategic agenda forward 
• Participate in defining vision, strategy, goals and timeline together with the team leader 
• Participate in mentoring, motivating, and leading your team towards the purpose and set goals.  
• Supporting the team with buying follow-up securing the right assortment mix and volumes 
• Performing ongoing sales analysis and identify future potential and risk 
• Short- and long-term actions constantly optimizing the assortment and planning going forward 
• Take responsibility for the controlling and secure the balance between top-down vs. bottom-up perspective 

WHO YOU ARE 

We are looking for people with: 

• A degree in business, engineering, or an equivalent area. 
• At least 2 years of experience within Business Controlling. 
• Experience within Merchandising is highly meritorious. 
• Strong leadership qualities (formal or informal) and a strategic mindset. 
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn your analysis into actions. 
• Good communications skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken) 

And people who have: 

• A proven track record of strong performance within assortment controlling and assortment strategy.  
• A communicative approach, with a passion for driving sales and creating results. 
• A curious mindset and are constantly looking for possibilities to develop new and more efficient ways of working. 
• A growth and flexible mindset, who can adapt to changes and work independently to find new opportunities.

This is a full-time permanent position, based at our Head Office in Stockholm, Sweden, and you will report to Assortment Controlling in H&M Womenswear.
