Job Responsibilities

As Unit Manager, you will be part of a diverse and competent team which is responsible for developing ECU’s, Antennas and ADAS sensors for our products – ensuring they meet present and future demands across trucks, buses, and industrial products. The team holds end-to-end responsibility for the HW, from setting requirements and together with procurement be part of choosing supplier, to developing the products together with our suppliers, and work closely with colleagues within system development and testing.

In this role, you will:
•    Coach and develop the team as a group and as individuals .
•    Foster good work environment with a strong focus on team development and well-being.
•    Foster close collaboration with our sister units at the other TRATON R&D sites
•    Be part of an Global management team 
•    Together with the management team ensure the Development flow has right resources and competence when it
comes to Electronic HW development.

 

Who You Are

You also bring:
•    A degree in engineering, preferably in electronics or a related field.
•    Experience or strong interest in Electronics.
•    A genuine interest to lead and grow teams in a complex, international environment.

Meet the Team
The team is known for a healthy and good atmosphere, grounded in trust, security and that different personalities and questions are an asset.  The unit consists of 12 persons, four women and eight men with ages ranging from 28 to 62 years. The team members have backgrounds from four countries, with a combined experience in developing electronics HW of several decades. The high level of competence combined with a helpful mindset, that we learn together and that all questions are welcome make us a strong team which have fun together.
