You know the power of great execution and how it shapes strategy, not just follows it. As Senior Project Manager at Scania’s Project Office, your leadership will make a real difference. You will guide complex projects from decision to delivery, ensuring seamless introductions with high quality, no surprises and no disruptions to the industrial system. Together with executive leaders and cross-functional teams, you will move Scania’s premium offer forward by turning vision into value, with the customer always in focus.
In this role, you will influence strategic priorities at the highest level while leading execution across functions. You will coach and support fellow project managers, strengthen ways of working and help build a professional and forward-leaning project culture. Your ability to bring clarity, momentum and collaboration into complex environments is key to our success.
Leading programs and projects that are critical to Scania’s premium strategy and long-term business goals is at the core of this role. From early strategic direction to final delivery, your work ensures tangible results that bring value to both customers and the business.
A key responsibility is to align executive stakeholders, manage complex interfaces and keep progress focused and steady. Delivering high-quality introductions without disruptions to the industrial system is essential, and this requires sound judgment and proactive risk management.
Beyond individual projects, this role also contributes to shaping how we lead at Scania. Strengthening methods, supporting professional development and cultivating a learning and inclusive project culture are part of the impact you bring.
An experienced and trusted project leader with a strong drive to deliver results and help others grow is what we are looking for. Comfortable in both complexity and clarity, you know how to bring teams and leaders together around what truly matters. Structure and empathy go hand in hand in your leadership, and you offer stability and direction even in high-stakes situations.
Strategic conversations with executive leadership are a natural part of your work, and you also take active responsibility for driving progress in day-to-day execution. While always keeping the bigger picture in mind, you pay close attention to the operational details that make the difference.
Coaching others and building a strong project culture are things you value. Regardless of whether your background is in engineering, logistics, purchasing, business or another field, it is your leadership, integrity and curiosity that stand out.
At the Scania Project Office, we lead projects that define the future of Scania’s premium offering. We act where business and product meet, and where strong execution moves strategy forward. Our mission is to ensure that product development delivers real value to customers, to the business and to our industrial system.
We are also building a modern and inclusive project culture. We believe in collaboration, coaching and continuous learning. We work closely with the Group PMO, Scania Brand and leaders across the organisation to align priorities, develop our ways of working and make sure we are always part of the solution.
We offer a dynamic, flexible workplace with hybrid work options, including Scania Sergel and Midway hubs. With a structured development plan and courses, Scania supports your career growth both locally and internationally.
Benefits include training at our health center Gröndal or wellness allowance, result bonus, flexible hours, and company car leasing. Scania also hosts events for employees and their families, and Stockholm residents enjoy direct access to Södertälje via Scania Job express buses.
