Job Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced group manager to lead Shopfloor IT systems through the ongoing Nova program. The Nova Program is supporting Scania’s and Traton’s transformation of the Production & Logistics (P&L) Process and IT landscape. Now our current manager for the Manufacturing team is leaving for a new challenge. So, if you love Manufacturing and like a challenge, this is the perfect time to join this exciting journey.
Today’s team exists of 8 business architects. As a member of the Industrial IT leadership team you are actively developing our department in line with our strategy.

Our successful candidate is an experienced leader that can support the team in looking ahead. You help the team to secure that capability roadmap and portfolio’s fulfill Scania’s and Traton’s upcoming needs. As a servant leader you enable the team to succeed with their deliveries. You communicate expectations and know that feedback is crucial in driving the development of both team and individual.
Having a close dialogue with stake holders cross functional Scania is natural to you, as to support your team’s deliverables. You are strong in communication, creating structure around you, making clear analysis and conclusions. You have broad knowledge of the manufacturing and affinity with IT. You probably have an engineering education and/or equivalent experience. You are probably well in your Scania career and have experience from manufacturing. You need to be proficient in written and spoken English. We expect basic skills in Swedish.

Global Industrial Development is a unit within Production & Logistics at Scania. The unit supports the operational sectors of Chassis & Cabs, Powertrain as well as Logistics. One of the responsibilities within the unit is Industrial IT (department VEI). Industrial IT’s mission is to support Scania’s P&L towards a digitally powered Industrial System to deliver world class products. For todays and future needs, based on a unified way of working, we create and maintain a well designed and known business architecture. This architecture, together with P&L strategic priorities is the basis for the transformation roadmaps, towards the New Order to deliVery Architecture, NOVA.
Our future IT Landscape consist of 3 main cornerstones within PDM/PLM, ERP, MES and PRINS as a bridge in the middle. All efforts are part of the NOVA (New Order to delivery Architecture) Program, implementing the new business processes and IT Solutions at Scania. The program receives high attention and expectations from Scania's top management.
