TitanX Engine Cooling AB is now looking for a Lead Product Engineer who wants to help shape the next generation of heat exchangers for heavy-duty vehicles. The role involves product development from concept to final product, with a strong focus on technical leadership and customer interaction. About the Role

As Lead Product Engineer, you will lead technical development and validation of products in both customer-specific projects and internal platforms.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading product strategy and technical development in customer and platform projects
  • Ensuring technical documentation such as CAD models, drawings, DFMEA, and DVP&R
  • Coordinating cross-functional R&D resources and working closely with analysis, laboratory, and simulation teams
  • Delivering technical presentations and acting as the technical point of contact with customers
  • Driving technical standardization, improvement efforts, and design changes
  • Performing thermal simulations, validations, and analyses in collaboration with calculation and testing teams
  • Contributing to IP work, cost optimization (DFA/DFM), and innovation processes

You’ll contribute to TitanX’s success by ensuring technical quality, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction throughout every stage of the development process. You will be challenged by demanding requirements in terms of performance, durability, and cost. You’ll work closely with colleagues in design, production engineering, quality, and project management - while also taking independent initiative in your own areas of responsibility.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5–10 years of experience in product development, including at least 5 years in a technical leadership role
  • Experience from the automotive industry, preferably with a focus on heavy-duty vehicles
  • Solid knowledge in thermodynamics, mechanics, CAD (preferably Catia V5), and GD&T
  • Understanding of manufacturing techniques such as machining, sheet metal forming, and heat treatment
  • Experience with APQP, IATF 16949, and risk analysis (DFMEA)
  • Experience in design optimization using simulation (FEA, CFD)
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Swedish is a plus.
