Based at our Solna office in Stockholm, Sweden, you will be part of a dedicated global team of 13 colleagues across 7 countries. You'll collaborate closely with key production sites in Northern Europe, working alongside various departments including research, marketing, procurement and QEHS.

How You Will Make an Impact

Your primary goal will be to shape the future of Arla's cooking portfolio within our leading brands, concentrating on the Nordic markets. You will lead development projects from concept to completion, crafting and refining recipes that will set us apart from the competition.

In this dynamic role, you will leverage your deep knowledge of flavors and ingredient functionality to drive innovation in cooking products like crème fraîche, creams, dips, and cottage cheese. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and documenting new and optimized cooking products, effectively translating market demands into innovative recipes and processes.

Your key responsibilities will include, staying ahead of industry trends to innovate and optimize our cooking products. Translating consumer insights into product features. Experimenting and prototyping at kitchen scale. Project management and stakeholder engagement. Recipe and process development and ownership. Planning and conducting trials at pilot scale

• Data collection and documentation
• Product evaluation and application testing
• Setting product quality specifications including sensory and functional parameters
• Scaling up, implementation, and integration into commercial production
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product success

What Will Make You Successful

To thrive in this role, you should have a strong business mindset, curiosity, openness, and the ability to see broader perspectives. Persistence is essential to deliver projects on time and within budget. You should have a keen sense of quality in products and your work, and enjoy testing products and optimizing recipes. You have a background in dairy, food technology, or food science with extensive understanding of dairy products and ingredient functionality. Flavor experience is an advantage.

• You have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar position or production environment, with solid knowledge of dairy products and processes.
• Robustness and perseverance in managing market demands and supplier interactions.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential as part of a global team.
• Familiarity with Nordic cooking culture and proficiency in a Nordic language is an advantage.
• Ability to lead and drive activities and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
