About the job

For our business function Sourcing and Trading, we are looking for a Back-office support role that will play an important part in the European team. Sourcing and Trading is responsible for supplying the businesses with the right raw material and components at the right time and place at the best cost.  

The position is full time, and your placement will be in Karlshamn, Sweden. You will report to our Trade Execution Manager for Europe who is based in Zaandijk, Netherlands. You will have two direct colleagues on the execution desk in Karlshamn.

Responsibilities 

The main objective for the role is to support on all aspects of the administration during the sourcing and trading process. More specifically:

•You interact in close cooperation with AAK buyers and traders and facilitate the execution of contracts with freight forwarders and raw material suppliers.
•You manage and handle confirmation of contracts by checking what has been registered by the traders in SAP.
•You archive and handle important documents that accompany the shipments of goods (vessels and trucks).
•You assist in ordering materials and support in verifying costs and business reports.

About you

To apply you need a high school degree and/or an academic or vocational degree preferably within logistics, supply chain, business administration or other related fields. 

Furthermore, we expect you to be

•Fluent in both Swedish and English as you will communicate with colleagues, suppliers and freight providers in multiple countries around the globe
•Proactive and know how to set priorities
•Structured and process-oriented with focus on the tasks at hand
•Enjoying working independently but also see the great benefits from team collaboration
•An eye for details and high professionalism 

In addition, experience from similar roles or other relevant experience within logistics and trade execution and SAP experience will be a great asset in this role.
