We are looking at expanding our team of Release managers, to meet the future challenges in the automotive industry. The team plays a central part in forming and developing future powertrains for all brands in the Traton group. We need to supply industry leading performance and functionality to keep our position as leader in the heavy-duty market.
In order to stay ahead of the competition, we need to continuously improve our product, development environment, tools and methods to stay ahead of the competition.
The Team
The Engine System Software group is responsible for the complete internal combustion engine management system. We perform a wide range of cross-functional work within Scania, as well as with other manufacturers in the Traton Group. We are responsible for many of the tools and processes used in the development of the engine management system.
Your role
Work tasks are varied and challenging. You are responsible for coordinating the build process for the software. You are delivering the SW to our production sites and aftermarket. Your delivery includes documenting the final product.
As Release manager, you will be at the heart of a team of project managers, the test organisation and the software development teams. In collaboration with other members of the organisation, you will coordinate the build of new software releases.
We are looking for an engineer with a university degree or with equivalent knowledge in electrical engineering, embedded systems and/or performance management. You have good communication skills, are organised and self-motivated. You will be a part of a team, thus you need to be a team player.
The product is technically complex and developed to the best performance and standards on the market. The Engine management system is key to function, performance and environmental impact of our products thus, an engineering background or strong engineering interest is expected.
You are fluent in both written and spoken English (Swedish is meriting).
