As Operations Manager, you will be key in our journey by securing the best IKEA Food offer ever and fulfilling our vision and purpose of food in IKEA. You will be responsible for the transformation of the operations in the Food organization and ensuring that our business strategies are customer centric and effectively executed, with innovation and drive in the forefront to deliver to growth.
You are responsible for driving and ensuring that our overall agenda end to end is being implemented. You do this together with many colleagues, including the highly competent teams you have managerial responsibility for (Business Navigation, Range administration, Transformation office). You combine strategic thinking with operational power and are passionate about growth and delivering results for people as well as planet. Your leadership is characterized by both strategic elevation and an operational focus where you excel at structuring, prioritizing, getting people onboard, setting challenging goals and ensuring they are met. You are proactive, solution- as well as relation-oriented. The essence of your leadership is based on our values, with strong commitment that collaboration is the way forward, which is also something you manage to get through the whole value chain from supplier to customer. This isn’t just about managing — it’s about transforming.
What you do
Take responsibility for development of our strategic plans as well as secure implementation throughout
Analyze, develop/improve Food business processes, ensure the efficient delivery of products and services, in strong collaborations with Capability areas
Take the lead in our transformation agenda together with transformation leaders, including leading integration of technology solutions to improve operational efficiency (ERP, CRM, and other systems).
Ensure that necessary structures, ways of working, insights and competences are present as well as securing financial and operational pre-conditions to have people in the right place and at the right time, in close collaboration with the People & Culture Leader and Food Manager
Take the lead in securing all our common goals, People and Planet oriented
Optimize resource allocation and manage budgets effectively
What you bring
You will be part of the Inter IKEA Group Food Steering/management group and report to the Food Manager, who has an assignment, just as you will have, leading IKEA Food from an IKEA end-to-end perspective.
