Who we are
Domain Automated Driving is responsible for solving the self-driving challenge and is currently in a transition phase to become a part of TRATON R&D from July 1st 2025. We are located in modern and flexible work environment, suitable for our way of working. We work in a scaled agile setup, combining the best of traditional Scania culture, a global organization, and agile work methods.
Your responsibilities
In the role of Section Assistant, you will be part of three teams. Firstly, you will be a member of two section management teams which comprises both line managers and technical leadership. Secondly, you will also form part of our administrative team, which consists of three other section assistants.
You will actively participate in the section management strategic work, organize and prepare meetings and be responsible for administrative support. Within the admin team, you will, in close collaboration with the other assistants, support the domain, manage IT orders and approvals, access rights, invoices, welcome new employees, etc. You will be part of a team that enjoys constant work of developing improvements and new ways of working.
Part of the job is also to support mood management in our office. With creativity and a genuine interest in other people you contribute to fun things happening in office that makes our people happy.
Your profile
You have experience from working as an assistant in a highly complex and dynamic environment, preferably within product- or service development. Your skills in administration are crucial for success, such as having a structured way of working and being proficient in time management. High integrity, dependability, work capacity and organization are also important traits. The ability to work both independently and in a team, be service-minded, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment are necessary as well. Supporting managers and colleagues in both easy and challenging tasks is enjoyable.
Being unafraid to try new things and maintaining a positive approach to challenges is key. Being able to find solutions for problems of any size is a valuable skill. Finally, excellent communication and networking skills are necessary for success in the role, as well as being a true team player.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications and other internal and external systems is crucial for this position, and you help driving the digitalization of our business. Candidates with prior experience in using IT systems to manage orders and approvals are preferred. Fluency in both Swedish and English, both in written and spoken communication, is also required as the job entails working in an international setting.
