Director, Head of Strategy & Product Planning, KSX

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation towards becoming a true partnership driven leader in sustainable transports, where services play an integral role. The role as Head of Strategy and product planning is crucial in setting the strategic direction and tactical planning for a competitive global product portfolio regarding services and hence reach Scania’s targets regarding transformation and service revenue in a sustainable way.

In this role we are looking for an experienced, curious and ambitious colleague whom will be a valuable member of the KS, Services, management team as a direct report to Senior Vice President KS. You have a high level of creativity, a can do-attitude as well as knowledge on how business is generated – here and now as well as in the future. You challenge the KS management team as well as the organisation on how we set strategy and also move forward according to defined strategy. You work closely with and well-integrated in the own organisation as well as all of Scania. You interact with all brands in the Traton context and have a great opportunity to influence strategy development on all levels.

Responsibilities 

• Make sure our strategy is visionary yet clear, understood and executed on throughout the organization
• Ensure that our strategy and prioritization is well understood within Scania and in the Traton GPM and GR&D contexts.
• Ensure that our prioritization and product planning work safeguards the future competitiveness of our service offering
• Set new standards for how we communicate around our services both internally and externally
• Work together with surrounding stakeholders including your team to enable our organization to deliver end-to-end value for our customers
• Lead the section both in terms of strategic development and operational optimization, to improve our customer value.
• Develop the organization to unlock the true potential in team you are responsible for.

Your profile

• You have an agile mindset with great understanding of product planning in our new Traton context as well as strategy development and execution, and what it takes to drive transformation 
• You are an experienced leader with proven track record in developing people and taking organizations to the next level.
• You value team spirit, high pace and are a fast learner. You are proactive, pragmatic and make sure to find solutions to the identified challenges.
• You are a strong communicator and enjoy working in cross functional positions and are eager to develop existing ways of working into even more agile and flow-oriented structures, with customer demand at heart.
