In our team you get the opportunity to create an emitting future for both you and Scania’s electrical system and the chance to contribute in an ensemble of excellence within the field of electronic verification. One week you are verifying early samples in our EMC chamber and the other week you are working with EMC design improvements on an autonomous vehicle in an external test house.
About the position
With the target to develop vehicles with robust electrical characteristics we test our systems and installations with creative test methods. In the role as an EMC engineer you will be challenged to find deviations and improvements to contribute to our EMC performance. We are a small team working closely with other colleagues and together we help each other to develop our products and learn from our achievements. You will design for EMC and perform development and compliance testing on components, systems and complete buses and trucks. Scania has an own component test facility and vehicle testing is performed at external locations.

About you
You have the willingness to make a change and to get things done. You get energized by working closely with different competences in cross-functional teams where you act as competence in the field of EMC. It is easy for you to take the initiative in social situations and you find it easy to form new relationsships. You are an engineer with passion for electronics and have a role today as an EMC test or electronic design engineer.
