Do you want to lead the team that takes Scania buses into the next generation of electrical architecture?

The ongoing transformation from traditional buses to new electrified and autonomous buses puts new demands and challenges to the whole bus development department. A new section, RBE, has been created with responsibility to develop cable harnesses in this transformation. As one of 4 groups RBES has an important role of develop and implement the next generation of electrical architecture.

Your role

In your role as head of RBES you will lead and coach 9 design engineers and 2 object managers. The main responsibility is cable harness design and installation of electric components. RBES faces interesting times with projects that introduces the new electrical architecture that enables autonomous driving and improved BEV buses.

You will be part of the RBE management team to form this new section, where we will define and realise our mission and strategies with close cooperation with cross-functions at Scania, our bus business partners and our customers.

Your profile

To succeed in this position, you need to be strong in developing teams and be communicative. We are looking for a team player with a prestige less mindset and structured way of working. We believe you have previous experience from leading teams, preferably within R&D.

You master English both in written and verbal form. You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree (mechanical design, product development or electro) or similar work experience.

Together with external suppliers, internal Scania R&D departments/groups and end customers, giving you a possibility to build a good product knowledge and a strong contact network.
