Our team, Corporate Digital Design, is responsible for the digital design of digital services and touchpoints in Scania. We have created a solid foundation for this with our digital design system and we also have a very good cooperation with our colleagues in other departments. We now need to extend our team with an experienced Digital Design Lead that will help us continue to develop and expand design in Scania.
You will create inspiring layouts, lead cross-organizational design work and conduct research
We believe this to be a unique position within the design area. Not only will you create inspiring layouts and digital designs and work closely with Brand Management and other designers across the organization, but you will also take the lead in developing the area of digital design further by conducting research.
The research will be conducted together with a university in Sweden and other companies and you will be Scania’s representative in this. Your research topic will be how to visualize data on the AR and VR spectrum, so you will get the chance to really immerse yourself in design research. This will be a significant focus area for you, 50% of your time will be dedicated to this exciting area.

As a foundation, you need to be very experienced in creating inspirational and pixel-perfect digital layouts and designs. On top of this, you also need to have experience in successfully leading and inspiring others since this will be an important part of your role. We also think you have been working with design strategies and turning them into actual design.
Personal competencies that are important to have in this position are openness (think in new ways, observe trends in the field), and extraversion (put forward arguments and get listened to and takes initiative in social situations). You also need to have the ability to cooperate well with others and can lift your gaze from your area of responsibility and work for the common good of Scania.
