Our environment and the transport needs of the society are undergoing major changes. Urbanization, climate change and digitalisation are examples of trends that create both challenges and opportunities for the sustainable and efficient transport systems of the future. Innovation Office develops new innovations and business opportunities for Scania beyond the company's current business. The work is mostly conducted in project form and ranges from trend and scenario analysis and systems research to exploratory design and business building. The new solutions developed can be aimed at Scania's existing market or completely new customers. The projects often involve colleagues from other parts of Scania and / or other companies as well as representatives of society, academia and research centers. The work is usually strongly iterative and design-oriented. Design thinking permeates everything we do, from system level to business development.
