We are already live in Sweden, Finland and Germany, soon expanding to other European countries. Founded in late 2012 Zimpler is now an established young company. In 2017 Zimpler got listed as the 3rd fastest growing tech company in Sweden on Deloittes Fast 50 tech list. 

As a part of our vision we want to give consumers control over their spending. We strive to empower end users by giving them tools to reduce excessive spending by using behavioural design models. We aim to both nudge and technically enable users towards financial well being.

Autonomy and Alignment
Do you like to have responsibility for the whole user experience of what you build? Good!  The development of the Zimpler payment is owned by our teams who have full responsibility for their part of the product. This requires strong cross functional teams, so we strive to constantly improve our team culture and communication. In order for the product in whole to develop in a steady way and for the teams to be autonomous we also constantly optimize our alignment through vision, roadmap, backlog, and values.

Your team

You will be a part of a growing UX team positioned to combine , sales, and marketing teams. You will be integrated to a product team (including developers, data engineers) being in charge of delivering value for our product. Our goal is to provide exceptional user experience to our customers supported by on-going user and design research. We are looking for a team player who has a background in both graphical design and UX. You will be part of what we call the UX guild constituted so far of two UX designers/researchers with background in IT and cognitive science/psychology. With your competence, we will cover the main areas underlying the interaction design field.

Your r esponsibilities will be :

• Playing a main stakeholder role in the development of visual identities for our products
• Conducting user research and proposing improvements in form of user scenarios and prototypes for instance
• Applying established branding guidelines and coming up with new and appealing design solutions to improve our product design, and look&feel
• Ensuring a visual consistency throughout Zimpler products
• Communicating and visualizing interactions
• Conducting user research, developing user journeys and scenarios, identifying and wire-framing design suggestions
• Communicating user-centered design thinking research with product and sales teams
• Being a user champion while collaborating with product team members

You are:

• A skilled communicator and a great team player
• Open-minded to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
• Driven, self-motivated, and an initiator
• Fluent in both Swedish and English

 In addition you have: 

• Masters in User Experience Research/Interaction Design or similar field
• Proven graphic design experience  with a keen interest in design and typography, and in keeping up with the latest trends
• Great layout skills, creative flair, and a well-developed sense of color, composition, and information hierarchies 
• Ability to develop mock-ups including wireframes, low fidelity prototypes, and design scenarios
• A solid understanding of user centered design principles, design thinking, and design with intent research
• Some software skills - we use Sketch, Adobe suite, and Axure in our team. You can come with your own package, showcase to us, and we are happy to accommodate.

Zimpler has main offices in Goteborg and Stockholm. For this position, we are looking for a person in the Gothenburg office.
