The position

You are

You have an extensive technical background with an emphasis on Java along with a demonstrated history of successfully writing robust, mission-critical code for transaction-intensive systems. Your skills include deep understanding of design along with previous experience of running and improving the development within your area.

Based on your technical expertise, you feel confident taking an interactive role, discussing and advising both specialists and developers within the company as well as the product management team. Previous experience within the field of finance, banking or listed companies is an advantage. Curiosity, enthusiasm, high energy and the ability to find solutions where others see problems align with your personal characteristics and you enjoy working in a fast-paced organization.

You will

As Principal Software Engineer, you develop and deliver new functionality with very high quality in a limited time to Nasdaq's customers. The development is mainly in Java, although you also work with C ++ regularly. During the majority of your time you will focus on development along with taking the role as the technical expert towards both internal and external customers where you convert complex requirements into technical solutions. The emphasis is on programming large, distributed systems with high availability.

Nasdaq identifies new markets and innovate their product, presenting an excellent opportunity for you to participate and influence through this position in the company. You have the mandate and ownership to run the work on product development and product innovation from idea to implementation and meet the needs of the markets of tomorrow. The team consists of a group of incredibly skilled developers who together create tomorrow's product innovations.
