Jayway is an employee owned, innovative technology and design company, helping clients create meaningful digital products and services.
We are looking for a Java Developer with practical experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade application and web portals. You will be part of a talented software studio and will be responsible for Java/Java EE application development.
We work together with our clients to develop inspiring and useful products. We mainly focus on Mobile, Web and Cloud and the solutions can be anything from a scalable, enterprise-grade application to more simple web portals. We expect you to either be responsible for Java/Java EE application development or work with a more senior colleague and report to him or her. In our typical projects we provide expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
You have a problem-solving mindset, like to work in a team and share knowledge with others. Communication-skills is also something that we value highly. We expect you to have a relevant degree or equivalent working experience.
Our daily workJayway combines creativity and technology to swiftly transform ideas into realities on mobile, web and in the cloud. We do this by either consulting at the client site, but primarily we focus on in-house projects. In our daily work we aim for fun and challenging projects of the right size - typically 3-8 people, working in an agile way and using cool technology. Our clients range from small niche startups to some of the largest companies in the world. We have introduced agile methodologies for many of our clients, and of course we practice what we preach.
Skills & requirementsExperience in the Spring Framework and ecosystem.
