Test Manager to Sweco AB

What will you do

As a test manager in Sweco IT you will be tasked with driving the continuous improvement of test management capability and function. Your work will primarily revolve around Sweco’s financial applications and integrations towards internal and external systems. However, you will also work with other applications and IT platforms to ensure quality in our production environment. 

You will be part of the IT Processes team and together you will play an important part in developing, maintaining and executing processes that support Sweco's business strategy and objectives. 

You will also create test strategies, test plans, coordinate test environment roadmaps and maintain test tools. You will also lead and drive meetings and report to stakeholders relating to test activities.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• Organizing and own the test process and any associated tools used
• Identify areas of improvement relating to test management
• Development and definition of suitable test method and tools
• Collaborate and plan test relating to the financial application landscape governess model
• Execute and co-ordinate the test process in projects and releases together with participants from various interest groups
• Document test activity and results, communicate to key stakeholders
• Maintain the test landscape and co-ordinate usage across the project portfolio
• Contribute towards the development of other IT processes
• Ensuring high-quality products are delivered

Majority of the following qualifications and experiences fits your profile.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a complex and global professional services organisation or similar
• Solid understanding of test management processes
• Experience of working with ReQtest, ServiceNow, Microsoft Office and Office365 including tools such as SharePoint and Teams
• Good understanding of financial processes, terminology, and systems
• A basic understanding and knowledge of IT and IT services
• Experience in leading meetings
• Practical experience of working with agile and waterfall methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communications skills in English

To fit in this role it's important that you are able to share your thoughts and ideas clearly in both verbal and written form. Therefore we believe you have strong communication skills and are comfortable in leading and facilitating discussions to arrive at clear outcomes.

Furthermore, any experience of the following would be an advantage.

• A relevant academic qualification in economics, finance, or IT
• A relevant certification or qualification in SAFe or ISTQB
• Experience of working in the AEC industry or similar company to Sweco
• Knowledge or experience of Deltek Maconomy
