At Technology Infrastructure Solutions we are currently searching for an experienced and highly motivated Mainframe engineer with deep knowledge of IMS and MQ. If you want to be part of a skilled and experienced team with the responsibility for transactions at the heart of the bank this is the right challenge for you.
What you will be doing?
The Mainframe and IBMi department consist of several technical teams in total approx. 45 persons. The IMS/MQ Team is a team of 6 persons responsible for operation, maintenance and development of IMS and MQ in a large and challenging environment. We use standard IBM products, as well as writing our own. Together with the team, you will be responsible for daily delivery, maintenance and support to other IT-departments within the bank. You will work with problem solving, system development, automation and driving change to thrive towards a modern and effective Mainframe platform - well aligned with the digital roadmap of SEB.
Who we are looking for
You are a skilled engineer/developer with solid experience within larger Mainframe environments. You are a driven team player and can work independently; you are a “doer” with a result-oriented mindset taking a strong accountability for your area of responsibility. You have the following qualities:
• Good knowledge and experience of IMS, DL/1 and MQ in Mainframe
• Contribute in all areas; analyze, design, develop, test, document and maintain services delivered by the team
• Communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work with multiple teams and cross-culture
• Experience from and interest in an agile way of working
• A relevant university degree or equivalent work experience
• Fluent in Swedish and English in both speech and writing
