We are looking for experienced design engineers to join the Scania Quick-team that will support Navistar in Huntsville.
Scania is transforming to being a global supplier of powertrain solutions and the journey to connect Navistar to the TRATON brands has started.
At the end of this year, the production of the common-based engine (CBE-1) and GW transmission will start in Huntsville, Alabama, USA.
This is an opportunity to build new working relationships and networks within the TRATON brands and you will be the link between Scania, and Navistar.
Organization
You will belong to the engine (NM) or propulsion (UP) development organization but you will be located in Huntsville, USA. The Scania Q-team at Navistar will consist of one Q-team leader and two design engineers. The Scania Q-team will work in close collaboration with the Navistar organization and with the support from Q-teams in Södertälje and Scania Latin America (SLA).
Assignment details
Start: Q3/Q4 2022.
Assignment length: 1-2 years.
Job description
A Quick-team is a team of dedicated resources from design, purchasing, and production. The Q-team is responsible for handling and solving product quality deviations within the quick process.
The role enables global collaboration and contact with multiple cross-functions within the Navistar and Scania organization. In the role of Q-team design engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with the complete powertrain.
