Detta jobb är inaktivt och går inte att söka längre

About the job

We have an exciting future ahead of us. For Scania to transform to a supplier of sustainable transport solutions, major technological steps are required in powertrain development. Our department “Powertrain Control Systems Development” is responsible for the development of control systems for all our powertrains. We strive to have the right functionality with the highest quality. To achieve this, the software must be quality assured through testing.

The Test Sections, NET, which includes the group "System test", is responsible for ensuring the quality of the software through verification and validation. We have grown continuously, as we are now, in addition to testing conventional powertrains, also testing systems in electrified powertrains for the whole group of Traton.

The results of the group's tests are guiding the department's decision regarding the release of all our engine software (both BEV and ICE) in terms of safety and legal requirements.

The system test group uses modern and well-known test techniques to develop and execute system test cases for regression from a risk-based approach. We use different test environments such as SIL/HIL (Software/Hardware-In-the-Loop) and vehicles (truck and bus).

The regression test cases are suitable for both manual testing in vehicles and automatic testing in SIL & HIL. The automatic tests are coded in Python programming language.
