Data Protection Officer to nShift!

Your Workday

In the role of Data Protection Officer you will provide guidance and support around data protection and out Information Management Systems at all levels within the organisation. Building on the processes that exist you will be a trusted business partner and support stakeholders across the organisation.
As Data Protection Officer you can expect a dynamic and multifaceted work, due to the merger of five companies into nShift, your part being to make all parts of nShift compliant. Your most usual contact surfaces will be the Data Protection Officer mailbox, the R&D team, the Cybersecurity coordinator as well as the Sales and Customer success team and the Management team.
You will be working in an international and friendly as well as technically advanced environment together with dedicated colleagues. nShift have strong growth ambitions as well as very solid financial backing.

Here is a list of your more important responsibilities:

• Oversee nShift´s compliance programme for GDPR, working with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance for GDPR; this will include advising on compliance metrics and standards

• Advise on nShift’s data protection and privacy obligations documenting any relevant processes where required by law

• Ensure compliance on all data protection agreements (DPA)

• Take responsibility for the DPO mailbox ensuring timely responses to customers and third parties

• Lead project design and workstream coordination for ISO 27001 implementation

About You

As Data Protection Officer you like to be a driving force, to get things done. You think building good collaboration with multiple stakeholders in both IT and Business bring flavor to work life. You will greatly benefit from experience from previous titles such as Data Protection Officer/Deputy, Governance Officer or Head of Privacy & Security in this role.
You need to have working knowledge of GDPR, it is also desirable if you have data protection qualifications such as BCS/ISEB, CIPP/e or CIPM or other relevant certifications. Furthermore, you need to have good risk management skills, paired with pragmatism. Finally you like to manage projects and see the benefits of working within a known project framework.
