We are looking for a test engineer in acoustics for complete vehicles at Scania!
The group Acoustics Complete Vehicle, RTRN, is involved in developing the trucks of the future regarding both legal requirements and driver-experienced acoustics.
You take responsibility by contributing your knowledge to design groups and development projects where you are involved and ensure that optimal requirements balancing for Scania is achieved. The acoustics of a complete vehicle must always have the conditions to meet legal requirements. At the end of the projects, you and your colleagues verify that both legal requirements and the cab sound environment meet Scania's high requirements.
Your tasks
The work as a development engineer with us involves developmental testing in the area of sound and vibration as well as sound quality evaluations. You also conduct pre-development work in acoustics together with our team of test engineers. You are also expected to spread your knowledge in the field of acoustics to colleagues.
