Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Autonomous vehicles, connectivity and electromotive challenge Scania´s Research and Development organisation in a new way and the organization System Architecture is an essential part of these initiatives.

We are facing an exciting transformation towards a more flow driven working process as well as new technical challenges.

Our office is located in Södertälje and we plan to work partly remote and partly from office moving forward.

Your daily tasks will include:

• To coordinate and plan the team and their deliveries.
• Lead the work of department wide initiatives.
• Facilitate meetings and follow up activities.
• Continue to improve our internal and external processes.

As a person we are looking for someone who:


• Has the ability to refine and realize ideas.
• Has an ability to inspire and motivate other people.
• Challenge the way we work, based on knowledge and new perspectives.

You are experienced in agile development methods and applies the agile mindset in the daily work. You probably have bachelor degree in engineering or similar. Diversity is the normal situation in our development teams, hence international experience and cultural awareness is a benefit.

You have a solid background within software development, preferable within embedded systems. Leadership experience is a merit. You would impress us if you have experience in education, create educational materials as well as hold educations.

Fluent in written and spoken English. As a person you are curios, interested in strategic work and driven by always improving our products and processes.
You are happy working in a team, but are also capable of working independently when required. You are an accomplished communicator with good social skills.
