Technical Project Lead
The IT infrastructure department in Scania develops, delivers, and maintains all necessary components and services in on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure for global system development and deployment, for use by the Scania business entities on a global scale.

The Global Sites Infrastructure team supports the business and the Infrastructure department in the deployment of Infrastructural services and standards to primarily the sales and service locations on a global scale. Through our expertise in architecture and coordination, we also support other major initiatives for the department. We are now looking for a new Technical Project Lead for our Global Sites Infrastructure initiatives.



Your responsibilities as Technical Project Lead
As the Technical Project Lead in the Global Sites IT Infrastructure team, you will be taking responsibility for the global deployment of new Strategies and Products in Infrastructure Services, that will allow business entities anywhere on the globe to work more secure and effective, making use of new and existing technology in a coherent and standardized way.

You will work in a team of technical experts, in cross-organizational projects and assignments that typically span several other teams/departments and have a global reach.

You work amongst other will cover:

  • Leading work with Scania business entities globally, in planning, preparation and follow-up for the deployment of our Global Infrastructure Strategy and other strategic initiatives
  • Prepare and document assessment data, gap analysis, and forward planning with Business Unit IT Managers globally and our HQ based experts
  • Apply Agile ways of working in our work in a rapidly changing business environment
  • Work with the Global Sites Infrastructure Team to identify and implement new ways of working in securing and harmonizing IT Infrastructure on a global level
  • Be Technical Lead/Coordinator for other Infrastructure Initiatives in the department based on needs and interests

Your qualification as Technical Project Lead
You have an Agile way of working and are inspired to work on new ideas and, you let your creativity flow. You have relevant academic education or equivalent work experience and, a good overall understanding of modern IT infrastructure, its components, and functions. This entails user identification, network, hosting, cloud concepts, and likes. You have a technical background and work experience within IT and you are ready to make the next move in your career. You have good communication skills and enjoy working in a multicultural environment where we respect the individual. Fluency in English both written and oral is required, Swedish language skills are merited.
