Do you want to be a part of the development of a fast-growing portfolio analytics business? We are looking for a business-oriented developer with excellent programming skills and an interest in data analytics to the Risk & Valuation Services, a unit within Investor Services.
What you will be doing
You will be working closely together with a group of experienced quantitative analysts and lead the development of cutting-edge solutions to process big data for tools and solutions that can enhance our quantitative analytics service. We are looking for someone with an eye for building efficient, scalable solutions and can work across the stack. Besides working in our team, you will be able to learn from and collaborate closely with full stack developers in the CTO team in the immediate organization to drive our technology forward.
Depending on your interests there will also be opportunities to work with developing our quant solutions and general business development. Our portfolio analytics suite is extensive, and you will get to be familiar with market risk, performance & attribution, ESG, liquidity risk and more, spanning the entire product space of financial instruments.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate exhibits the following traits:
• Two to five years of development experience.
• Experience with working with large scale data and one or more of the following areas C#/.NET, Microservices, Docker, Python, Airflow.
• You have at least a BSc in a quantitative subject (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering) with affinity for developing quality software.
• Experience from the financial sector is meriting but not necessary. The candidate should demonstrate a keen interest in working in the sector, however.
Furthermore, we value a positive mind set and a problem-solving attitude. It is necessary that you have excellent communication skills in English, both in writing and verbally.
