Group Manager Financial Services IT

The section Finance IT is a part of the Supporting Processes department at IT. Finance IT consists of four groups and our mission is to provide sustainable IT solutions and IT expertise within the financing area. 

We are looking for a servant leader with experience of agile transformation and building a service organization, preferably within the banking/insurance sector; who will lead and develop our team in supporting Scania Financial Service's mission.

Scania Financial Services (SFS) serves Scania customers, dealers and distributors in over 63 markets around the world, through 18 captive business units, with financing and insurance solutions. The aim for SFS is to become a true and integrated part of the Scania Solution Sales offering, by developing customer satisfaction and loyalty while adding value to the stakeholders and customer’s customers when living the Scania Experience.

Your profile 

You are a natural servant leader with a passion and understanding for new ways of working and new technologies. Leading people through changes is something you find both inspiring and rewarding and team diversity and inclusion is built into your DNA.

You have most likely worked with IT in a leading position in banking or insurance; where you've gained great stakeholder management skills and the technical insight to understand how data can enable compliant new business models.

Your Responsibilities

As a Group Manager, you will be an active member of the Finance IT management team and will lead, support and develop one of our four groups – the Financial Services group. In close alignment with the business, you will build a high-performing agile team with competencies to be able to face both a high-paced rollout initiative delivered via cloud with complex integrations, as well as manage solutions on prem.

Together with your team, you will represent Scania ITs deliveries and facilitate and participate in dialogues on a broad spectrum of topics all aiming to enable Scania’s Financial Services in being the leader of premium customer profitability.

You ensure your teams' ability through coaching, mentoring, and feedback. You bring enthusiasm and have the skill to see people and their differences and possibilities. You will also help the team to develop innovative and cost-efficient solutions and services that maximize business value. It is natural for you to create a business plan together with your organization and work on that with a clear focus. Furthermore, you have the courage to challenge existing ways of working and how to validate these ideas.
