As a part of Scania’s digitalization journey, R&D Digital Office is looking for a developer to join the team of 15 people with the purpose of accelerating R&D’s digital transformation.
Our resonsibilities span a wide range of areas which we have defined as; Information Management, Digital Office Experience, Digital Strategy and Research, and Information Security. Each of the sub-categories has its own team assigned to it, where people with similar interests and responsibilities but different competences are grouped together in order to achieve great efficiency and speed in their work.
In our group we are business IT analysts, developers, project managers, strategists, ISec and GDPR officers, as well as researchers.
Who you are
We are looking for a full-stack developer to support us with the work we do within automatization and rapid software prototyping, someone that can work both with front- and backend, as well as with AWS.
To be able to keep up the speed needed within our digitalization journey, local development capacity is needed to be able to quickly try out new ideas that can make the work for our R&D colleagues easier. This includes:
We usually work with Python for backend and Angular for frontend, but since we’re mostly building different kinds of Proof of Concepts, we can be flexible when it comes to languages, technology, infrastructure, architecture etc.
In this role, you will get to be creative and come with ideas of how to solve our users different needs within digitalization.
Who we are
As a developer you will be part of the Digital Office Experience team, whose areas range from business automation, business intelligence, development, to Office 365 and the future workplace.
The Digital Office Experience team also have responsibility for driving new ways of visualizing data and information. By working in R&D Digital Office you will get a wide-ranging network all over Scania, as you will be in a group that collaborates with all the business units regarding digitalization.
