Scania Propulsion Department is responsible for the development of Gearboxes, Electric Propulsion and Axle Central Gear.
The group UPCI in Propulsion Department is responsible for external installation mounted on Scania Designed Propulsion (gearboxes and electric machines), Scania Propeller shaft, Transfer Gearbox, Allison Automatic Gearboxes, Layout meeting in UP, MockUp Propulsion in UP.
You have a technical degree of at least bachelor level or equivalent. You are creative, genuinely interested in technology and curious to broaden your technical expertise. Communication is very important and we work with our cross-functional teams on a daily basis. For this reason, we are seeking someone who enjoys working in a multicultural context and has good written and spoken English.
As your tasks will range from problem analysis to problem solving, you need to be a good communicator and team player. You must enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with others. It is plus if you have experience from design in plastic, sheet metal, casting and media routing.
