The department Vehicle Service Information (YS) plays a central role in this journey by providing the information, tools and systems needed to maintain, diagnose, repair and upgrade the products in a qualitative and cost-effective manner.

We are looking for a Vehicle Property Owner for Repairability and Maintainability, who has a customer-oriented mindset and strong leadership and communication skills. Your passion for technology and holistic view combined with workshop knowledge will secure that we deliver superior uptime to our customers.

Your tasks

As a Vehicle Property Owner, you are ensuring that Scania's future vehicles will be competitive with respect to Repairability and Maintainability. You will define the future vision and roadmap, as well set targets and report status for Repairability and Maintainability in product development projects. You will organise benchmarking activities in order to always know the competitiveness of our products. In addition, you provide guidance and expertise on trade-offs, and challenge the R&D organisation when vehicle property targets not are reached.

The full vehicle perspective is essential in your work, since different applications have different bodywork and needs. In the end, it is our mechanics and customers, who will evaluate how easy a Scania vehicle is to repair and maintain.

For the right candidate this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the continued success of Scania’s aftermarket business, as well as become visible within the organisation, since you will present at different project and management meetings, including meetings with Scania’s top managers.

Your profile

You have an engineering degree, and it is advantageous if you have experience of working in areas related to aftermarket, service and/or spare parts. In addition, knowledge and experience of the following fields are a plus:

  • Trucks and buses, both the full vehicle perspective and components and systems
  • eMobility
  • Product development

As a person, you are communicative and service-minded and have a proven track record of drive and teamwork, but still able to work independently when needed. You master English fluently in both speaking and writing, as well as Swedish.
