About the job
IT Support Team provide professional and service minded IT support to all the IKEA of Sweden end users and sites in Älmhult: IKEA of Sweden, IKEA1, IKEA2, IKEA Älmhult, IKEA Värdshus, IKEA Property, Vitsippan and IKEA Testlab.
About the assignment
Normally you start your day at Local Service Desk Bar IKEA of Sweden, and your main tasks as IT Support Specialist is to receive and take ownership for all support needs coming through Over Desk or other channels
You monitor all open support cases, escalate if necessary and keep the end user informed about the solving process. Sharing knowledge with colleagues, i.e. by using a common knowledge database is also part of how we work in the team.
You find better ways and enable change, and you will use a holistic and global view when representing IT Support / Service Management or the end-user in different forums. As a member of our IT Support Team, you work (onsite) 40h a week.
