About the role:
As a Senior Business Analyst in the Regulatory Reporting Business Development team you will work in a global environment in our division Large Corporates & Financial Institutions, in the area of regulatory reporting linked to trading in financial instruments. The team works in close cooperation with different Business areas, Trading Services and Technology in an agile setup.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be an important player in ensuring the business perspective in project deliveries and continuous refinements of the daily regulatory business. Your main responsibility is to read and understand regulatory requirements and assess how these may impact SEB's business. You will document SEB specific business requirements, source system requirements, and work closely with system analysts within Technology to transform business requirements into system requirements. It is also expected that you will drive initiatives as an epic owner if needed.
You will, through an analytical approach, solve business problems, both on your own and in teams, and engage stakeholders throughout the SEB organization. Performing business process reviews and identifying gaps between the current and future system landscape is a crucial part of your work as well as providing analytical guidance and support for company projects and initiatives.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
• An academic degree in Finance, Business, IT, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience of the financial industry and a good understanding of the regulations that affects trading and financial instruments as well as ability to read and understand system requirements.
• Experience related to European regulations impacting financial instruments (EMIR, MiFID, or SFTR) is expected, but experience with MiFID II/MiFIR is meriting. Familiarity with SAFe, JIRA, and Confluence is also a plus.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English.
• Skills in making impact analyses and transforming business needs and regulatory requirements into detailed business requirements.
• Proven project manager or epic owner experience, which is seen as a merit.
