About the job

We are looking for a Software Developer (Frontend/Backend) to join our team building an amazing new mobile app and its microservices environment to bring exciting new products and services to our users throughout the Nordics. You will be collaborating with our skilled architects, full-stack, front-end, and back-end developers located across multiple locations in the Nordics (Finland and Sweden) and Europe.

About You

You will most likely start working with either the frontend or backend stack and from there develop yourself to take on a role as a great full-stack developer, contributing to an end-to-end stream of a product feature. You participate in technical discussions and help your team members succeed. You will collaborate closely with peers and the Product Owner to bring solutions to market. We see that you have a strong sense of ownership of what you produce. Not only do you care about the code, as you should, but you also take great pride in the product you build and how the users interact with it.

Need to have:

• (As a Frontend) Hands-on experience working with React Native / React
• (As a Frontend) Hands-on experience in TypeScript/JavaScript
• (As a Backend) Hands-on experience working with Java Spring Boot/NodeJS
• (As a Backend) Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture
• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• At least 3 years of professional experience in either frontend or backend

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of API Gateway / Backend for Frontend pattern
• Experience working with cloud services, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience working with mobile application development lifecycles and delivery
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaaC)
• Knowledge of identity services, OAuth2, OIDC
• Experience with GitLab pipelines
