Joining our Governance function means becoming a key player in building and developing a methodology and frameworks for the Bank’s internal control. Under the leadership of Head of Governance, the function operationally strives for a well-functioning overall structure and methodology for the Bank’s governance work, including Risk and Compliance Management. This includes internal controls, process management, steering documents as well as monitoring and ensuring that the Bank is compliant with external and internal regulations.

What will you do?

As an Internal Control Specialist, you will have the lead role in building the Bank's internal control framework. That means you will take ownership of the work, with some of your key responsibilities including:

• Developing, implementing and continuously improving Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Control framework to support process design and entity-level controls throughout the organisation.
• Provide businesses with advisory services on Internal controls design, implementation, monitoring & reporting.
• Monitor periodic Internal controls performance assessment and secure timely response to gaps/control improvements
• Advise on the required processes and ensure awareness, application, and compliance with Internal Control Steering documents.

Requirements

We believe that you have:

• A bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, finance or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience within internal control or external/internal audit, preferably in the financial sector
• Knowledge and experience in best practices for internal control and governance frameworks, particularly within listed companies in the financial sector
• Experience from SOX is advantageous
• English and Swedish skills at a business proficient level
