Project Manager

This role is open to candidates based in the Netherlands and offers the opportunity to work hybrid - a couple of days at our office in Utrecht and also from the comfort of your home. Keep reading to find out. 

A day in the life of a Project Manager 

As a Project Manager, you fulfil an essential role. You will guide our clients through their digital transformation journey by understanding their business, and by helping to design and execute a focussed strategy to reach their goals. On a typical day you will find yourself balancing strategic planning with hands-on problem-solving. In this role, you will be part of a team of diverse digital natives as we collaborate with people from all corners of the globe; our Valtech colleagues and on the client side.

In addition, you will: 

• Support the client in having a clear vision and strategy and make sure the Valtech team helps realizing the vision
  
• Proactively manage risks, identify problems in delivery and take actions to resolve and escalate issues that may occur.
• Make sure the governance for the project is in place and monitor and report delivery on an outcome basis of our multidisciplinary teams who are experts on digital, creation and technology.

You and the role

You are someone with at least 5-7 years of experience in the field of Project Management. You always see the bigger picture and can talk strategy, branding, design and development at the same time. This enables you to also lead, coach, and inspire multidisciplinary teams. Besides this, you think from the end user perspective, and are experienced in running global projects . 

We would love if you have 

• Experience in Scrum and Agile processes and knowledge of other methodologies like Scaled Agile 
• Fluent written and spoken Dutch and English skills
• A flexible mindset
• A hands-on mentality and ability to switch between strategic topics and operational interventions
• Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps.
• Some experience with commerce solutions and experience platforms.
