We are excited to announce that SEB Embedded is looking for a Legal Counsel to join us in our mission to pioneer the future of financial services! As SEB Embedded scales, your responsibilities will evolve. Initially, we would like you to:
Support Privacy Matters: Assist with privacy assessments for SEB Embedded's current and new business initiatives.
Provide Clear, Actionable Advice: Guide our security, platform, and insights teams on implementing privacy measures within their areas of responsibility.
Collaborate on Privacy Risks: Work with relevant stakeholders to identify and address privacy risks related to new products and processes.
Draft and Update Policies: Create and maintain privacy policies and cookie notices.
Continuous Risk Follow-Up: Monitor and evaluate privacy risks associated with ongoing initiatives.
Participate in Reviews and Audits: Assess the outcomes of customer reviews and audits.
Enhance Customer Experience: Partner with the Customer Lifecycle team to develop a smooth customer experience where privacy is integrated.
Elevate Privacy Knowledge: Conduct training sessions and create privacy-related FAQs, guidelines, and handbooks to enhance the organization's understanding of privacy matters.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in legal matters related to GDPR and privacy. Experience at a Swedish law firm, authorities, or in the financial sector is a plus.
Detail-Oriented: Strong administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.
Self-Driven and Collaborative: Capable of working independently and contributing effectively to cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Practical Advisor: Able to provide hands-on, risk-based advice that the business can implement.
Flexible: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and view each day as an opportunity to explore and develop your skills.
Technical and Security Expertise: Experience in technical and security-related fields is a significant advantage, as GDPR extends beyond just legal aspects.
Strong Communicator: Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand and adapt to the audience you are engaging with.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead privacy-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring all milestones are met and objectives are achieved.
