Development Engineer

We are looking for a Development Engineer who will work with web handling of thin flexible material in converting factories where packaging material is manufactured.

In this role you will contribute to the successful transformation to a more sustainable packaging solutions in a global environment. You will be challenged with dynamic and exciting activities supported by a skilled team working together in a collaborative atmosphere.

This is a permanent position based in Lund, Sweden, but you will work in a global arena which requires occasional travelling.

As Development Engineer within Web Handling for converting equipment, you will part of a small team that:

• Develop, implement, and maintain innovative solutions related to Web Handling equipment and process, in collaboration with equipment suppliers.
• Participate in development projects and technology knowhow activities.
• Support our converting factories with issue resolution.

• Degree of Master of science in Engineering.
• Experience in packaging material converting or similar material processing.
• Knowledge of web handling process and control systems.
• An analytical reasoning and a structured way of working
• You are fluent in English, verbally as well as in writing.

You are passionate about your work and you take ownership of your activities. You have an inner drive to seek knowledge and add value to the team and organization. Your communication style is open, and you find it easy to collaborate with others within and outside the organisation.
