Cybersecurity Solutions Architect - Extended Vehicle Cybersecurity Architecture Role Summary

Cybersecurity & Operations is a section comprising two groups at Scania Research & Development. We contribute to the operation and monitoring of Scania vehicles.

We are currently seeking a cybersecurity solutions architect who wants to further develop our strategy and solutions and build our tactical ability within Architecture, Forensics, and Monitoring. This involves creating and maintaining the bridge between our operational capability and the defined strategy.

Your profile:

We are looking for a highly experienced Solution Architect with proven security knowledge. You should also be a team player with a can-do mentality combined with strong integrity and a structured way of working. To fit the expectations of the role, we expect you to be highly motivated by the mission described above, experienced, and able to thrive in complex environments with a problem-solving mentality, actively seeking improvements, and having the ability to guide others while feeling secure and maintaining focus.

You have a graduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent. You have at least 7+ years of professional experience in IT or system development. Experience in a similar role is advantageous, and a good command of English is required. Swedish language skills are an advantage.

Your role:

Your main tasks will involve working on security design in cross-functional roles with a strong emphasis on building cybersecurity monitoring capability across the electronic control units onboard, the extended vehicle (cloud services), and creating the foundation of an extended vehicle cybersecurity architecture, as well as strengthening Scania's forensic capability.

You will have a mix of tasks related to product guidance, technology development, participation in planning activities, and deeper analysis of security requirements, improvement work, and governance. You will also support other teams in their collaboration with stakeholders inside and outside of Scania.
