We are looking for our curious, innovative, sales driven hungry lion to be our Selling Manager at IKEA Malmö.

Imagine being the selling maestro at our Malmö Market. Picture leading a team of 180+ fantastic leaders& co-workers, reporting to the Deputy Market Manager. You will not just be a team member; you'll be a key player in the commercial and management dynamics of Malmö Market.

We're on the lookout for someone fueled by curiosity, someone who effortlessly balances people and business priorities, hunts down opportunities, and inspires their team to exceed expectations. Our business plan is crystal clear: Customers come first, always, and they are always right. We blend data, insights, and experience to make it all happen. Our growth plan is straightforward too: Sell more, sell smart – in turnover, volume, and quantity.

Today, Malmö is a very diverse market, with over 900,000 people living in the greater PMA from 170+ nationalities and speaking 150 languages.

Affordability, diversity, and sustainability are the core values here in Malmö, in addition to this, being close to Copenhagen and other European hubs sets the stage for sustainable growth. Malmö Market is a selling sensation, boasting a current market share of 23.9%. But wait, there's more to be achieved! With our City Plan taking off, we're aiming for an additional 3-4% growth in the next 3 years.

A day in your life with us

• Deliver and lead the commercial action plan for the Malmö market; working closely with your team and matrix partners in Retail Sweden to ensure our market contributes the achievement of the agreed goals for the country, maximizes sales and generates sustained long-term profitability.
• Secure successful implementation of Country & Market priorities and the sharing and implementation of best practices and outstanding solutions.
• Secure a consistent, seamless positive customer experience through all channels by ensuring that your department is always striving to fulfill the omni channel customer experience.
• Promote and lead analysis of the overall performance through data& insights to be market relevant and drive growth.
• Secure competent and high-performing teams and leaders who inspire and empower every co-worker to recognize and understand their contribution. Identify and develop the many talents within your function to contribute to overall succession planning.
• Understand the IKEA social and environmental commitments and know how you can contribute to people& planet positive direction.
• Lead your team by promoting a performance culture by utilizing all follow up tools available and create a fun challenging environment to grow the business.

Deliver agreed goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) by:
• Commercially driving sales through my short-term and long-term action plans.
• Analyzing your KPI’s and working with your team to create meaningful actions to achieve our agreed goals.
• Controlling costs through working in a lean, simple, cost-conscious way using best practice and by encouraging the team to drive efficiency and productivity.
