The team

A multicultural, cross-functional team of around 15 persons in the Smart Factory Lab coming from IT and global industrial development. The team is responsible for driving the digitalization journey in the field of Production and Logistics. We collaborate extensively with internal and external parties to identify current and future business needs within the Smart Factory domain. We consciously cooperate with other teams within Scania & the Volkswagen group all over the world with similar goals and competencies.

Your role as a cloud developer

As a cloud developer specializing in AWS, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing proof of concepts that harness the full potential of cloud solutions together with our production units. Your primary focus will be on leveraging AWS services to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance scalability, and drive efficiency across our operations. You will create a good network within and outside Scania to keep yourself up-to-date with technology trends and to identify potential use cases within our business areas. You will work with excellent engineers and have the opportunity to make a real impact on our way of working, vision and digitalization targets. You will also present your solutions to our customers and host during the open demo days.

Your profile

We are looking for an experienced cloud developer with good communication- and social skills. You like to see the bigger picture and you enjoy sharing your view with others. You have a genuine interest in technology, software and programming. As a person you are driven and take responsibility.

We Also See That You Have

Strong coding skills in at least one of these: Python, .Net, Javascript

Knowledge of good cloud and software development practices
