We define, develop and operate the full portfolio of development capabilities within the area of Engineering and on behalf of IKEA.

About the Job

We’re now looking for a Capability Developer within the area of Packaging, who will be responsible for identifying the need for development of common ways of working, digital tools and competence across areas and integrated to our end-to-end processes, which fulfills the need in the business and lives up to the IKEA concept and frameworks.

You will be leading the development plan of the packaging capabilities, enabling implementation and secure delivered value to the business, as well and be able to bring expertise to IKEA through constantly exploring trends, research, methodology and technology within the area of expertise.

You will be responsible for leading and facilitating networks for roles in and across the business and contribute to or lead the development of competence profiles, supporting talents with introductions and role specific competence needs, and contribute to their IKEA journeys.

You contribute to the development of IKEA Business Capabilities by working in close co-operation with stakeholders across the IKEA network.


Qualification

About You

The Capability Developer will have excellent ability to lead in the unknown in a fast-changing environment being open to doing things differently and:

  • Ability to turn business needs into enabling initiatives wow, tools and competence

  • Ability lead and facilitate explorative and creative processes to reach common goals and objectives in cross functional teams

  • Ability to communicate and visualize concepts and ideas in a clear and inspiring way

  • Ability to build trustful relationships and collaborate with stakeholders and partners

  • High self-awareness and team player with the ability to work in different team constellations.

  • Ability to work both on holistic and detailed level.

You have deep and extensive knowledge in expertise and good understanding of the IKEA vision, business idea, concept, direction, strategic framework and culture & values. Deep understanding of IKEA business model, value chain, work/lead/organize and development processes. You are fluent in English both spoken and written and have good understanding of co -creation, ideation, and exploration methods.
