About the job
Commercial Product Manager Repair Services

Scania is undergoing an exciting transformation with the ambition to drive the shift towards a sustainable transport system. As electrification, connectivity and digitalization take center stage, services are becoming increasingly crucial in ensuring outstanding customer experience. To succeed in this journey, we are seeking a new Product Manager to join our Uptime services team.

Do you thrive when technology meets market strategy? Do you want a role in which one day is not the other alike? Do you want to join a passionate team? Then this opportunity might be for you!

The role

Your main responsibility as Product Manager will be to manage service products throughout their life cycle, securing commercial performance and viability, with constant focus on customers’ needs and premium customer experience.

In your role, you will be leading the product strategy and commercialisation of our global Repair service offering. You will be working in close cooperation with other functions to develop product properties, processes, and solutions that ease sales and delivery of our services. You will also work closely with our global sales and service network to make sure that what we develop and offer is relevant and attractive to our customers. You will drive product launches, including go-to-market strategy, product presentations and communication materials. You will keep up to date on trends and the competitive landscape within the industry.

What are we offering?

You will be a part of a talented team of Product Managers, working in an agile organisational set-up working cross-functionally in autonomous teams. We appreciate teamwork and support each other with our challenges. We always strive to improve, by having an open mindset to new insights and learnings.

Within Sales and Marketing, we at Service Portfolio and Delivery are overall responsible for Scania’s global service offerings. We are at the forefront of the transformation and in the section Service Operations you will be at the heart of driving and supporting this change for our customers and in our global sales and service network.

We are offering a flexible work environment with the possibility to work part-time from home. You will also have the possibility to work from Scania’s hub downtown Stockholm.

Scania’s culture is characterized by openness, diversity and respect for the individual. The people who work here are our most important asset, so we will invest in you to help you grow with us. As a Scania employee, you are offered several benefits in addition to personal and professional development opportunities. These benefits include mutual bonus, leasing car and occupational pension.

Are you what we are looking for?

You have previous experience as a Product Manager or similar and possess a strong commercial mindset. You are an excellent communicator that thrive working in a collaborative environment and can motivate others. Previous experience from Scania’s global sales and service network is seen as a merit.

You have strong problem solving skills and are up for a challenge. You are self-motivated, have an open mindset and value team spirit. You enjoy a large degree of flexibility both in terms of skillset and being prepared to handle fast changing situations. You have a relevant academic degree (e.g. engineering/business) and are fluent in English. The position requires traveling.
