Who we are

“Business Control” (VFC) is a group within VF “Finance and Business Control” (VF) and is responsible for the financial consolidation of global book closings and projections for Production and Logistics. VFCs main tasks include financial reporting, consolidation and analysis of Production costs, Calculation vehicles, Investments, Delivery values, KPIs and IT projects. These tasks also cover the coordination of principles, processes and systems for all of Scania’s production units, analysis of outcomes and projections and present this for Corporate Control and the management teams of Production and Logistics.

We are now in search of a successor to the current manager, who will go on parental leave and then head for new challenges within the company. Are you up for the challenging but fun job of leading a team of positive and skilled finance professionals in delivering world-class analyses?

What will you do

In this role, you will report to the Head Controller for Production and Logistics but will also work on behalf of the Head Controllers of Powertrain, Logistics and Chassis & Cabs. You will be responsible for a team of six employees who work with book closings, projections, investments, delivery values, KPIs, calculations, IT projects, and various ad-hoc questions. The role includes working with methods, processes, and systems together with other co-workers and expert colleagues but also continuing to work cross-functionally within Scania. This position is part of the management teams Industrial Controller’s Council (ICC) and Production and Logistics Finance management team.

Your profile

You have an academic degree in Business administration and/or Industrial Engineering with several years of work experience in financial steering and reporting. You can quickly understand the full picture and analyze the most critical underlying factors and through this approach make complicated matters simple.

Communication and presentation skills, both orally and in writing in both Swedish and English, will be crucial for you to succeed in this role.

You also have a genuine interest as a leader in developing and supporting your group members to reap new successes. Experience as a leader is meriting but not a prerequisite.
