We are now recruiting a Senior Accountant to join our Global Accounting team at the headquarter in Lund.

We are looking for an experienced generalist, who wants to take the ownership of the full accounting process for some of our foreign subsidiaries. You will be a key partner to these regional offices and work with varied tasks to support our business. To thrive in the role, you have a strong business interest and enjoy building relations and collaboration. You will have a unique opportunity to be part of our growth and enter a position with a broad range of responsibilies.

The role:

Being an accountant business partner to your dedicated subsidiaries
General accounting, including monitoring of accounting/bookkeeping activities performed by outsourcing partners, and ensuring accounts are compliant with current company accounting principles
Monthly closing activities including balance sheet reconciliation and income statement analysis
Preparations of monthly, quarterly and yearly closings including annual reports and legal financial statements.
Audits
Ensuring accounts are compliant with local tax and VAT legislation, including filing of tax returns for VAT, corporate tax and statutory fees
Intercompany transactions
Supporting and contributing to budget/forecast preparatory tasks
Participating in setting up new subsidiaries
Proactively identifying, developing and implementing efficient accounting processes and participating in projects to streamline workflows and improve digitalization

Your profile:

We think you have approximately 5 years’ experience from a similar position and/or equivalent experience from an auditing firm. You have a good general understanding of accounting and bookkeeping and enjoy a variety of tasks. Of course, you have a keen eye for detail and strong critical thinking, but more importantly you thrive in a dynamic business environment.

To be the business partner we need, you are an excellent communicator and collaborator, and you have successfully built relationship with different stakeholders in previous jobs. You work with a curious, proactive and service-minded approach.

You are fluent in oral and written English as well as Swedish, and proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint in general and MS Excel in particular.
