About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be one of the specialists in our BIDW/LDP (Life Data Platform) team. QA and test automation are a part of this role as well as maintenance and incident handling. This specific role is more targeted towards the development of the Life Data Platform solution which makes knowledge around .NET and micro-service-based architectures very important. But since we work as one team, knowledge around GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and GCP products is also of importance to working together as a team.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field and 5+ years of professional software development experience.

• Proficiency in .NET and Git.

• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing container based micro-service type applications.

• Experience from cloud native development on preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Knowledge and experience from Linux systems.

• Experience from working with both relational and non-relational database systems (SQL server and MongoDB).

• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and various flavors of CI/CD.

• Experience from QA and test automation.

• Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken,
