The Selling Range team is looking for a Software Engineer!
Supporting customers with a truly seamless omnichannel experience is a central ambition for IKEA as a retailer. Having a single set of Product and Range core capabilities that support the entire business is a vital part to meet that ambition.
Today these capabilities are positioned in the Growth & Marketing Digital Area with a number of digital products to manage information and a single view that combines the information created within INGKA, Inter, and other Retailers.
In this context Selling Range represents the complete view of Product and Range information needed in Sales and Customer communication scenarios.
We're a back-end ‘API team’ exposing product and range information in a model-targeted sales and customer communication scenarios. Range is at our heart and our API is one of the most used APIs at IKEA with roughly 6 billion invocations per month.
Today’s team consists of a mix of junior, mid-level, and senior engineers and we are now looking for a new Software Engineer to make the team complete.
When working with us you will work with…
• A DevOps team running operations for the critical solution we develop.
• A team that uses Scrum-style workflow.
• A team that has close collaboration with numerous teams across IKEA and supports multiple initiatives at the same time.
• A team that is in the middle of a major migration from AWS to GCP.
We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in back-end API development. Some examples of what is important to succeed in the role:
• Experience in developing, releasing and operating APIs
• Cloud serverless offerings
• Experience of, or eager to learn, Golang
• See APIs from the perspective of our customers
• Curious learner
• Passionate about the delivery of high-quality software
What you'll be doing day to day
As a Software Engineer in our team, you will:
• Work in a flexible and agile environment
• Build APIs that provide data that reach millions of customers every day
• Work both independently and in collaboration with others in our team
• Communicate with other teams in collaborations
• Taking part in development in the team, both writing code and reviewing PRs

The role is based in Malmö, and you will report to the Engineering Manager. In this recruitment there is no relocation support provided by IKEA, hence we're looking for people already living in the mentioned location.
