TECHNICAL SAFETY ANALYST City: Solna Job Function: Other Safety Analyst (Technical)

We are now looking for a talented Safety analyst. The position as Safety analyst is a role within Corporate Security, STOQA-C, with responsibility for coordination and analysis of occurrence and hazard reports and therefore has a direct influence on the safety of our operations. To be eligible for this position you have a solid background within aviation industry, and are willing to develop within this area.

Challenges you will work on:
  • Coordinate occurrence reports within the Safety management system
  • Define, maintain and continuously improve the occurrence reporting handling process
  • Ensure mandatory and timely reporting to Scandinavian CAA’s and other relevant authorities
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external parties concerned
  • Perform safety analysis
As a Safety Analyst you will:

• In coordination with Head of Safety ensure that information regarding accident and serious incidents reports is compiled and that applicable reporting form is sent to the relevant accident investigation authorities
• In coordination with Head of Safety responsible for developing info, recommendations and propose corrective actions
• Participate in projects as decided by the Head of Safety and coordinate the output within SAS Group

To be successful, we believe you should have:

A solid, documented (preferably recent) experience within the airline industry. Furthermore, you have experience and sound knowledge of civil aviation regulations (EU 376/2014), SAS Airline operations, as well as Safety Management Systems and procedures.

You have an educational background within aeronautical engineering or other relevant aviation background with focus on technical aspects, for instance from CAMO or P-145.

In addition you have:
• Very good command of English, both verbal and written
• Very good knowledge of IS/IT in aviation reporting systems
• Knowledge of one of the Scandinavian languages is beneficial.

Other of Importance

Please note that the role requires security clearance which means background checks, security interview, and alcohol and drug tests.

This is a full-time (100%) position based in our head office in Stockholm, Solna
