We are now seeking a highly skilled and senior Head of UX to join our team at Fishbrain. As our Head of UX you will be in the center of what we do here at Fishbrain with focus on the US market. You will play a pivotal role in evolving and shaping the user experience for our services. You will lead the product design organization with the mission to grow the App usage and lifetime value by creating a lasting, relevant and qualitative user experience.

As Head of UX you will oversee and guide the creation of our digital services both in App and Web providing exceptional user experiences. The role involves a combination of discovery, user research, UI and leadership, on both strategic level, as well as hands-on operational work. You will be leading our product design team to ensure we meet our user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Set our vision for UX and implementing a strategy to reach it
A holistic ownership of the user experience for properties including iOS, Android and Web
Identify pain points in the user journey, proposing and implementing effective solutions
Identify and execute on engagement drivers in the app cross the whole customer journey
Leading the Product Design team and providing guidance and mentorship to grow skills and capabilities
Maintain and improve our design library for keeping and developing a consistent design system with reusable components. (today we use Figma).
Create prototypes and conduct usability testing to validate design concepts and iterate based on user feedback

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and marketers to align design decisions with overall product strategy
Maintain a strong understanding of the user needs, industry trends and competitor landscape (focus US market)

Profile

Excellent stakeholder management skills and collaborative mindset
A passionate product and customer evangelist
Attention to detail and quality
Proactive and taking ownership of your area and results on senior level
Excellent analytical as well as communication skills

Experience:

You should possess a combination of extensive experience, specialized skills, and leadership qualities such as:

7+ years of experience in UX/UI design, including 2+ years in a similar position or leadership role
Deep understanding of design principles and be able to continue working with our system that allows for easy collaboration and scalability

Solid knowledge of current design trends, mobile app design guidelines, and best practices

Proven track record of designing successful digital products or services across various platforms (web, iOS, Android)
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of enabling high performing teams

Highly proficient in Figma is meriting
