Senior industrial designer (Temporary Employment)

Right now, we need to strengthen our Design team with a Senior Industrial Designer who will focus on creating iconic products and user experiences loved by many.

What you’ll do:
As a Senior Industrial Designer, we trust you to take the lead on several projects and be responsible for the design delivery being on time and in line with brand, business and user needs. You master all skills required to be able to take on complex and strategic design projects where a clear scope is not well defined. You are expected to initiate and take on responsibility beyond the single project, such as strategic work and structural changes and being an inspiration for the team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Safeguard the design vision and help ensure a high level of execution of all ongoing projects in the team.
• Plan and moderate concept and design phase activities with the Product Managers.
• You are responsible that the design delivery is in line with user, business and brand objectives.
• Supervise and ensure sample and prototype quality.
• Identify and visualize decision material for key stakeholders.
• Drive and manage projects from concept start through production.
• Support and co-develop design and process strategies together with Creative design leads (CDL).
• Plan and moderate team activities together with team members and leaders in Design.

Who we’re looking for:
As a people-oriented, team player, and a strong relationship builder, you bring a user-centered design approach to your work. Your ability to mentor and inspire Junior and Mid-level co-workers reflects your proactive and structured approach. Comfortable in exchanging feedback with colleagues and leaders in a safe environment, you demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and you probably have a profound interest in music

You probably have the following experiences & skills:

• At least 5 + years of working experience within the field of product design
• Master skills in sketching and the ability to communicate your ideas
• Master skills within CAD, most likely RHINO or SOLIDWORKS
• Master skills with visualisation and presentation within KEYSHOT or similar 
• Have a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or similar
  
• Have a solid understanding of the design process and be able to bend it to fit each unique project.
• Familiarity with Consumer Electronics (CE) is a significant advantage for this role.
• Delegate and if needed can take the lead over multidisciplinary teams.
• Extensive experience in working with project management, design strategy, product development and implementation.
• Have a wide knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
• Ability to create and communicate design solutions fluently in English, both spoken and written.
